RGS Welfare Society

No RGS Student Should Ever Drop Out Because of Money

At Rainbow Grammar School, we believe that no child should ever be denied an education because of financial difficulties.

That is why we established the RGS Welfare Society, a student support initiative designed specifically to help our own needy students who cannot afford their school expenses with the help of some Charitable persons.

Who Does RGS Welfare Society Support?

The RGS Welfare Society is for our current students who:
  • Come from low-income families
  • Have lost a parent or breadwinner
  • Are at risk of dropping out due to financial crisis
  • Show sincerity and commitment to learning
These are our students. We know them by name. And we refuse to let them fall behind because of money.

What Expenses Are Covered?

  • Full or partial school fees
  • Textbooks and notebooks
  • School uniform
  • Examination fees
  • School bag and stationery

Where Do the Funds Come From
The funds are collected entirely from within our own school community and beyond:

  • Students – Those who can afford contribute small amounts as part of character building
  • Parents – Many parents willingly donate, and some have become official members of the Welfare Society
  • Teachers & Staff – Leading by example with their own contributions
  • External Donors – Kind-hearted individuals who want to support education for the sake of Allah

Parent Members of RGS Welfare Society

Some of our own parents have stepped forward not just as donors but as active members of the Welfare Society. They help:

  • Identify deserving students (with complete confidentiality)
  • Oversee fund collection and distribution
  • Ensure transparency and fairness
  • Encourage other parents to participate

This is what makes RGS Welfare special – it is run by the community, for the community.

A Message to Parents and Students

f you are a parent or student who can afford to give a little extra, your contribution no matter how small, but it can change the life of a fellow RGS student sitting in the same classroom. If you are a parent who is struggling, know that RGS Welfare Society is here for you. You are not alone. Your child will not be left behind.
